Florida Water Resources Journal Publishes Article
Nicolas Porter recently published an article in the October issue of the Florida Water Resources Journal. The article, "Are Tiered Water Conservation Rates Legally Valid?", discussed tiered rates structures that Florida water utilities are required to adopt and the implications the law could have on the utilities and property owners.

Ed de la Parte Speaks at Water Conference
Ed de la Parte was a key speaker at the annual Florida Water Law & Policy conference held November 5-6 in downtown Tampa. The conference focused on issues surrounding environmental and water law in Florida. Ed discussed the planning, partnership, and legislation regarding regional water supply issues throughout the state.
Ed has been with de la Parte & Gilbert for over thirty five years and is the firm's managing partner. He is a Board Certified State and Federal Government and Administrative Practice Lawyer and concentrates his practice in the areas of Government, Administrative, Environmental Land Use, and Water Law.
