Patrick J. McNamara is the firm’s Managing Shareholder. Pat joined de la Parte & Gilbert after receiving his Juris Doctor Degree from the University of Florida in 1987. Pat practices in the fields of commercial, civil, and personal injury litigation, Health Law, construction law and appeals.

Pat was named as a Florida Super Lawyer in 2013 through 2016, listed in Florida Trend's "Legal Elite" in 2012 and 2014 through 2016, and is a Best Lawyer in Personal Injury Litigation for 2017. He is “AV” rated by Martindale-Hubbell Law Directory, and has served as counsel in cases receiving national attention. He has also negotiated and drafted numerous construction, architectural and engineering contracts for some of the state’s largest construction projects.

Representative community involvement:
Pat devotes considerable energy to Prevent Blindness Florida, the state’s leading sight saving organization. He has served as Chairman, Secretary and Vice-Chairman of its State Board of Governors and as Chair of its Hillsborough Council. He also serves on the Board of Directors and as Vice President of the Tampa Bay Skating Club and as a Board Member and Coach for Interbay Little League. He is an alumnus of Leadership Tampa and the Tampa Connection.
