Michael R. Bray Joins Firm.

Michael Bray, a recent cum laude graduate of the University of Florida, Levin College of Law, has joined the firm practicing in the areas of appellate law, civil litigation and administrative law. He received his Bachelor of Science in Business Administration, cum laude, in 1999  and his Master of Science in Decision and Information Sciences in 2000, both from the University of Florida.

David M. Caldevilla Reappointed

Governor Charlie Crist reappointed David M. Caldevilla, Esquire to serve a second four-year term on the Judicial Nominating Commission of the Florida Second District Court of Appeal.  Mr. Caldevilla currently serves as the Chairman of that Commission, whose mission is to investigate, interview and nominate candidates to serve as appellate court judges.

Richard A. Gilbert, shareholder, has been invited to participate for a three-year term in the Pre-Law Alumni Advisory Board at Miami University, Oxford, Ohio. Rich is a graduate of Miami University and received his Bachelor of Arts Degree in 1970.  He is also a graduate of the University of Cincinnati Law School receiving his JD degree in 1973.  Rich has been practicing in Florida for almost 35 years and is Florida Bar Board Certified as both a Business Litigation Lawyer and a Civil Trial Lawyer.

Edward P. de la Parte, Jr.,  is a well-known practitioner in the fields of Land Use and Environmental Law and a former General Counsel of Tampa Bay Water. He was recently quoted in a Florida Trend article on the potential impact of expanded phosphate mining in Southwest Florida.
