Don focuses on achieving justice for individuals and families who have been injured by the negligence or wrongful conduct of others and consumers who have been wrongfully treated by insurance companies or corporations. He also represents businesses in commercial disputes, ranging from breach of contract cases to partnership disputes and shareholder derivative claims. Don has been recognized as a Rising Star by Super Lawyers Magazine since 2019, a distinction bestowed on only 2.5% of attorneys in Florida.
Don joined the firm in 2015 after graduating from the University of Florida Levin College of Law, cum laude. Prior to joining de la Parte & Gilbert, Don worked in tax preparation in both Chicago and Tampa from 2008 to 2012, earning his CPA in 2011. While in law school, he served as a judicial intern for the Honorable Susan C. Bucklew, Senior United States District Judge of the United States District Court for the Middle District of Florida.
