Ed de la Parte and Nick Porter Speak at Environmental Permitting Summer School

Edward de la Parte and Nicolas Porter were presenters at the 31st annual Environmental Permitting School held on July 18-21, 2017 at the Harbor Beach Marriott in Ft. Lauderdale.

The Florida Chamber Foundation’s Environmental Permitting School is produced by the Florida Environmental Network (FENI) and is attended by more than 850 attorneys, consultants, engineers, government officials, developers, and landowners. The program focuses on Florida’s environmental, energy and growth management laws, rules and programs.

Ed led a discussion regarding innovative water supply projects that are emerging around Florida, including the Central Florida Water Initiative, and the role of utilities and other significant water users now and into the future. He is a Board Certified State and Federal Government and Administrative Practice Lawyer and concentrates his practice in the areas of Water Law, Environmental Law, and Land Use. Nick presented at a course designed to provide insight into regulatory, planning and water supply development programs and other emerging programs and issues throughout the state.
