Richard A. Gilbert Celebrates 35 Years with Firm
de la Parte & Gilbert, P.A. is honored to recognize Rich Gilbert as he celebrates his 35th year with the firm.
Rich began his law career as an associate with Fowler White in 1974.
He joined the firm, then named de la Parte & Butler, P.A., in 1979 and
became a Shareholder later that same year. To reflect his many contributions,
the firm's name was changed in 1982 to de la Parte & Gilbert, P.A.
Rich has a passion for advancing ethics and professionalism among lawyers and
has chaired and served on many committees, boards and commissions to that end.
He is also a strong proponent of assuring that all citizens, regardless of economic
or social background, have equal access to the justice system.

Presents at HCBA Health Care Luncheon
Patrick McNamara presented Special Considerations in Healthcare Construction on January 15, 2014
during the monthly Health Care CLE Luncheon sponsored by the Hillsborough County Bar Association.
This presentation covered all legal aspects of the construction process for healthcare facilities.
Pat has practiced with de la Parte & Gilbert since 1987; he practices in the fields of commercial,
civil and personal injury litigation, health law, construction law and appeals.

Multi-Million Dollar Verdict

Pat McNamara recently obtained a $3.4 million verdict on
behalf of their client who sustained permanent injuries in an automobile collision. The client's
injuries included a brachial plexus injury, bilateral temporomandibular joint injuries, right shoulder
impingement syndrome, and disk injuries at multiple levels of the Plaintiff’s cervical spine. The Court
denied the Defendants' motions for new trial and motion for remittitur.
