de la Parte & Gilbert Sponsors RACE for Wheels of Success
de la Parte & Gilbert, P.A. was a proud sponsor of the recent Wheels of Success Recognition and Appreciation of our Champions Event ("RACE"). Wheels of Success is Tampa Bay's only 501(c)(3) nonprofit organization that provides transportation solutions by partnering with the community in a circle of support to keep people working and sustain their independence.
David Caldevilla, Shareholder at de la Parte & Gilbert, and son Jake enjoyed the RACE festivities.
The 8th annual event RACE fundraising event took place April 11, 2014 at the A La Carte Event Pavilion in Tampa. An array of red and green lights set the scene for a race car themed event celebrating individuals who are aiming to go far.
The occasion featured hundreds of raffled off items, mini car slots, a race track runway, and a yellow 40th anniversary Mustang convertible ready for auction. RACE is held to recognize supporters and community sponsors who have demonstrated exceptional support for the organization's mission. In addition to the celebration and awards, eleven working class families were gifted with donated cars at the event.

de la Parte & Gilbert Continues UF Book Award Gift
de la Parte & Gilbert is pleased to continue its support of the University of Florida, Levin College of Law by renewing a five year Book Award sponsorship in the Water Law course. The Book Awards Program is an honored tradition at the College of Law and is given to the top student in each course to honor their academic achievement.
Team de la Parte & Gilbert Raises Funds for Moffitt Cancer Research
For the 9th consecutive year, de la Parte & Gilbert, P.A. raised funds and participated in the Miles for Moffitt run/walk. This year's event was sponsored by PNC Bank and was held on May 10, 2014 at the University of South Florida in Tampa.
In the early morning hours, Team de la Parte & Gilbert, along with 7,500 other participants took part in the annual event to celebrate and honor loved ones and friends affected by cancer. Since the inaugural event in 2006, de la Parte & Gilbert has been proud to help Miles for Moffitt raise more than 1.4 million dollars.
