McNamara Re-Appointed to Executive Committee of Prevent Blindness Florida
Patrick J. McNamara has been re-appointed to the Executive Committee of Prevent Blindness Florida, a non-profit organization that promotes healthy vision through advocacy, education, screening and research.

Serving the Community
Kristin Morris, an associate attorney at de la Parte & Gilbert, along with her husband, Blake, will serve as Merge Youth Group Leaders for High School Sophomores for the upcoming 2013-2014 school year at their church, Hyde Park United Methodist.
Merge is a group designed to provide high school students a safe place to get together to discuss issues they may be facing, create friendships, perform community service, discuss their faith and have fun. Arenas-Battles Presents Case Law Update
Vivian Arenas-Battles recently gave a Case Law Update regarding eminent domain and other land use issues at a general meeting of the Association of Eminent Domain Professionals. AEDP is an organization of professionals in a variety of disciplines specializing in the field of eminent domain.
Vivian, a Shareholder at de la Parte & Gilbert, focuses her practice in the areas of administrative law, civil litigation, environmental and eminent domain issues.

d&G Shareholder Appointed to Appellate Court Rules Committee
David Caldevilla has been appointed to serve as Secretary of The Florida Bar's Appellate Court Rules Committee. The Appellate Court Rules Committee is a standing committee of The Florida Bar. The Committee is responsible for proposing new rules of appellate procedure and amendments to existing rules for consideration and adoption by the Florida Supreme Court. David is a Board Certified Appellate Lawyer and a Shareholder at de la Parte & Gilbert, P.A.
Mr. Caldevilla has practiced with de la Parte & Gilbert since 1989. In addition to his appellate cases, he also focuses his practice on administrative, civil litigation, environmental, eminent domain and government cases. David can be reached at dcaldevilla@dgfirm.com.
Nowak Appointed to Wheels of Success Board of Directors
Eric D. Nowak has been appointed to the Board of Directors of Wheels of Success. Wheels of Success is a local non-profit organization that provides personal transportation solutions by partnering with the Tampa Bay community in a circle of support to keep people working and sustain their independence.
