Charles R. Fletcher brings the firm invaluable environmental experience from both a legal and state/federal government perspective. Prior to joining the firm, Chip served as staff attorney for the Florida House of Representatives Committee on Water and Resource Management, where he helped develop landmark legislation revising Florida Water Law. He also served as an Environmental Engineer with the U.S. Environmental Protection Agency’s Office of Water in Washington, D.C.

Chip has published a number of articles on environmental issues, and has taught seminars on issues ranging from legal ethics to water resource development and funding. The Tampa Bay Business Journal recognized him for community leadership with its “40 under 40” award, and Florida Trend Magazine named him one of Florida’s “Best Up and Coming” Lawyers in its 2004 Florida Legal Elite.

Representative community involvement:
Chip devotes much of his community time to children and the environment. He serves on the Board of Directors of Voices for Children of Hillsborough County. He was instrumental in establishing Mas Vida Farm Worker’s Environmental Assistance Program, for which he received a Distinguished Pro Bono Service Award from the College of Law.
